Differences between Joomla 3.x & 4.x

Most our extensions are available for Joomla! 3.x & Joomla! 4.x - Please check the Compatibility information on the related Product Page.

While the settings in our extensions remains the same it might look different Joomla 4 & Joomla 3 but this is nothing to worry about.

Access Module Parameters​

Joomla 3.x​

Joomla 3 Modules Overview

In Joomla 3.x you can access the module settings by clicking on the module title in the module manager.
The module manager can be found in the Joomla! backend under Extensions > Modules.

Joomla 4.x​

Joomla 4 Modules Overview

In Joomla 4.x you can access the module settings by clicking on the module title in the module manager. The module manager can be found in the Joomla! backend under Content > Site Modules.

Access Custom Field Groups​

Joomla 3 Field Groups Overview

In Joomla 3.x you can access the Custom Field Groups by clicking on the group title in the custom field group manager. The Custom Field Groups can be found in the Joomla! backend under Content > Field Groups.

Joomla 4.x​

In Joomla 4.x you can access the Custom Field Groups by clicking on the group title in the custom field group manager. The Custom Field Groups can be found in the Joomla! backend under Content > Field Groups.
